Having Trouble Viewing my Blog?
Hi Everyone!
I've been hearing that some people are having trouble viewing the different "tabs" in my blog. The tabs that you should see are labeled: "home," "about," "portfolio," "the market," and "contact." If you are not seeing these, then something fishy is going on! So until this issue is resolved, please note that you can contact me at survintagemarket@gmail.com with any questions or comments absout my pieces, or if you would like to take any of these home with you.
Also note that if you cannot see pictures of the pieces for sale, you can find these in Lejeune yard sales and Craigslist by typing "survintagemarket" on the search boxes.
Sorry for these hiccups and hopefully we can get this fixed soon!

Two New Finds!
I picked up two more dressers over the last couple of weekends and I will be getting started on making them look even more beautiful than they already are! I know exactly what I want to do with the short dresser (very bold I should say), but I still need a little more inspiration on the tall one. We shall see where this goes... in the meantime, here are the "before" pictures:
Of course, as with all of the pieces I find, these are all solid wood :)
Be on the lookout for the finished products within the next couple of weeks!
Mineral Deposit Vintage Dresser
I've finally gotten around to take pictures of the last project that I finished. I absolutely love this dresser, I think it is my favorite one so far. I put it off for such a long time because it had such great bones that I wanted to make sure to pick the right paint color to do the piece justice. I chose to paint it in "mineral deposit" by Sherwin Williams, and as you can see, I've left the top as bare wood and re-stained it in walnut. I 'm very into the two-toned pieces right now so you'll be seeing a lot of that from me!
