Space Needle - Seattle, WA
Hello Everyone! Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm Lucia and currently my husband and I are located in Holly Ridge, NC. We purchased our first home in 2010 and with so many rooms to fill with furniture, I soon became a DYI fanatic in order to cut down on some decorating costs! I absolutely love finding old pieces of furniture and refinishing them- whether it be with some new coats of paint or just some simple sanding and re-staining. Two years later all of our rooms are pretty much filled, but I love doing these projects so much that I've decided to continue with my passion and allow others to enjoy the pieces I find as well.
I was born in Argentina and moved to the US when I was 10, and since then I've lived in Alexandria, VA until my high school graduation, moved on to Charlottesville for college at UVA (Go Hoos!), and we are now here in North Carolina. Soon enough my husband's military career will take us elsewhere in the US. We absolutely love to travel - we've been all over the US (although we still have many more states to go), the Caribbean islands, back to Argentina, and we are now planning our month-long European vacation that will hopefully take place sometime in 2013.
I also love, love, love to cook and bake and try out countless of new recipes! You may soon see my baked goodies at a farmer's market around town. :)
